New Testament Lesson 8 – Matthew 6 and 7 – Come Follow Me

New Testament Lesson 8

New Testament Lesson 8 – Matthew 6 – Matthew 7 – Come Follow Me

This lesson is about Matthew 6 and Matthew chapter 7 in the New Testament. We’re trying to follow the Come Follow Me materials in the Gospel Doctrine Class. This is helpful I hope.

I believe that this is the 7th lesson in the New Testament under the Come Follow Me manual.

“He Taught Them as One Having Authority”

This also covers the Savior’s Sermon on the Mount. I know of no better way to become Christlike than by living the way taught by Jesus in this message found in scripture.

I hope you enjoy this lesson.

This lesson is about the Books of Zechariah and Malachi in the Bible.

As Latter-day Saints, we can often misinterpret the Bible. Especially the part about tithing in Malachi. I tried to shed some light on this in this video. Watch it and let me know what you think.

This is the last lesson in the Old Testament.

I think I need a break. Not sure if I’ll do New Testament lessons or not.

I hope you enjoy this lesson.

We don’t talk about any other chapter in this episode, just Daniel 2.

What do you find here that is compelling?

Old Testament Lesson 27 – Gospel Doctrine

In this episode we discuss Rehoboam and Jeroboam and the dividing of Israel after the death of King Solomon. The lesson is supposed to be about leadership and the differences between good leaders and poor leaders. Joseph Smith never spoke of “leadership” that we have record of. It appears that good kings, good leaders, are meek. We reference King Benjamin and how he served. We reference Jesus Christ and how his yoke is easy and his burden is light.
