Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 29, 2007 –
Klinedinst PC is proud to announce that corporate litigators Robert L. Clarkson and Connie M. Anderson have joined the firm's Los Angeles law office. Mr. Clarkson and Ms. Anderson were previously affiliated with the corporate law firm of Lerman, Pointer and Clarkson of Beverly Hills, CA.
Over the span of a 27 year legal career, Mr. Clarkson has tried numerous cases involving tens of millions of dollars in damages. He is often called upon to handle the most complex business litigation on behalf of clients. Mr. Clarkson has handled shareholder derivative lawsuits, class actions, and appellate cases. Since graduating from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1978, Robert Clarkson has made a name for himself in several high profile trials. At a bench trial, Mr. Clarkson represented a major real estate developer being sued by another developer for $126 million. Upon winning the trial, Mr. Clarkson then sought relief for damages incurred, and recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his client. He represents professional corporations, and once helped a respected architecture firm obtain millions of dollars in owed commissions. He represents clients in high-profile partnership disputes. Mr. Clarkson also works with large, multi-national corporations to ensure their interests are protected in state and federal courts.
Bob has a stellar reputation in legal circles as a no-nonsense lawyer, noted John D. Klinedinst, CEO of Klinedinst PC. He's the type of attorney you want representing you in court when your back is against the wall. Bob's trial skills and his tenacity for representing clients are legendary, and we are proud he has chosen to join Klinedinst PC.
Connie Anderson handled many of the same types of cases as an associate at Lerman, Pointer and Clarkson. Ms. Anderson graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2000. Since the inception of her legal career, her practice has been focused on complex business litigation, real estate litigation, and various intellectual property matters. She is experienced in the intricacies of class action defense, having handled a variety of class actions, including numerous actions against of America's largest retailers of electronics and computer equipment alleging unfair business practices. Having earned an MBA as well, Ms. Anderson is able to understand the nuances of her client's businesses, and is able to efficiently interface with clients and experts concerning company culture, and production, marketing, and accounting information.
Connie is a tremendous litigator who has proven her worth in a relatively short period of time, added Klinedinst. Her experience with these types of complex cases will be a welcome addition to our business litigation team. I'm delighted that our clients will be the beneficiaries of her incredible work ethic, professionalism, and top-tier legal skills.
